300 jobs
As part of the company’s continued commitment to Salt Lake City and Utah, Fidelity announced plans to expand its digital and technology workforce in the region by hiring nearly 300 new jobs over the next several months. Fidelity, an ambassador-level investor in EDCUtah, currently employs over 2,800 associates in Utah. Nearly 200 of those employees were hired in the first quarter of 2023.
“Fidelity’s continued hiring in Utah is a testament to our workforce and our state’s strong and stable business environment,” said Scott Cuthbertson, president and CEO of EDCUtah. “Fidelity is a valued corporate citizen, supporting initiatives that give back to their employees and the communities where they live.”
The 300 new roles are a continuation of Fidelity’s efforts to elevate its technology and digital capabilities and span from entry-level to senior leadership positions. Some roles are posted now, with more becoming available on a rolling basis. Interested applicants may explore available postings here.
Erin Farr, vice president of business development, has been consulting with Fidelity on this expansion opportunity since March 2023 as part of their investor relationship with EDCUtah.
