The Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah), Ogden City, and the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO) are pleased to announce that Ferro Concepts is bringing up to 26 new jobs and $800,000 in capital expenditure to Utah.
As an innovator in tactical gear, Ferro Concepts caters to top-tier military and law enforcement agencies with distinct, user-specific solutions. By establishing their headquarters in Utah, Ferro Concepts is bringing their main operations under one roof to better serve their end users.
“We're excited to work in a state that supports our industry and business, is pro second amendment, and has a geography that supports a great lifestyle for our employees,” said Stephen Evans, CEO at Ferro Concepts. “We're confident Utah will provide us with a base where we will continue to meet and surpass our customers' needs with innovation and passion.”
“We are excited to welcome Ferro Concepts to Ogden," said Ogden City Mayor Mike Caldwell. "Ogden’s strengths in product design and manufacturing will contribute to Ferro Concepts’ success as they develop tactical gear for public safety and military customers.”
“Ferro Concepts’ investment in Utah will add another U.S. headquarters to the thriving defense industry in and around Ogden,” said Scott Cuthbertson, president and CEO of EDCUtah.
The Northern Utah Economic Alliance (NUEA), a sister organization of EDCUtah, provided site visit support for this project. "Ferro Concepts will benefit from the very robust military ecosystem in northern Utah," said Chris Roybal, president of NUEA.
Gerritt Vander Linden, business development manager, led Project Ironclad for EDCUtah.
