Annual Economic Development Awards - Nominations Open

Every year we celebrate the people and organizations that have made an impact on the economic landscape of Utah with the EDCUtah Economic Development Awards.

This year we will be handing out the awards at our annual meeting in September. Please help us identify who those individuals or organizations are by submitting your nominations for one or more of the following categories:

Nick Rose Award for Leadership in Economic Development:
This award is given to a private-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous award recipients have included Jay Francis formerly of Larry H. Miller, Dean Luikart of Wells Fargo, and Scott Anderson of Zions Bank.

Thayne Robson Award for Leadership in Economic Development:
This award is given to a public-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous award recipients have included Mayor Mike Caldwell of Ogden, Carlos Braceras of UDOT, and Jerry Oldroyd of the GOED Board.

Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Cornerstone in Economic Development Award:
This award is given to associations, organizations or developments that have merit far beyond their own boundaries and have had profound and long-term positive impact on the state's economy. Past award recipients are the new Salt Lake City International Airport, Salt Lake Community College, Utah Jazz Legacy Trust, and City Creek Reserve.
