In 1987, five major Utah companies – including Zions Bank, Dominion Energy, and Rocky Mountain Power – founded EDCUtah. Today, EDCUtah’s Founders and Champions are recognized leaders in Utah’s economic development landscape and serve as members of EDCUtah’s governing body, the Board of Trustees.
EDCUtah’s Builders Circle comprises key members of Utah’s primary development community. Builders Circle investors enjoy private events and meetings with EDCUtah staff, a seat on our Board of Advisors, and eligibility to be appointed to the Board of Trustees.
The Ambassador level is a great place to start your partnership with EDCUtah. In addition to supporting EDCUtah’s mission, Ambassadors gain access to real-time project RFIs, monthly project updates, quarterly business development breakfasts, and connections to more than 200 public and private partners throughout the state.
EDCUtah’s Development Ready Communities (DRC) program includes training on key components of economic development partnerships, tools, and strategies. Development-ready communities are prepared with the right knowledge and assets to help shorten and simplify the site selection process for companies—and are therefore more likely to compete and be chosen for quality economic development projects.
EDCUtah community investors are key city and county stakeholders who collaborate with EDCUtah to drive economic growth, attract investment, and enhance the prosperity of their communities.
Our partner organizations provide support and community to anyone in the Utah business scene. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or recently moved to Utah, there’s a group and community here for you.
