Project Tiger: Nucor Announces Plans to Build TrueCore Facility in Utah

Nucor Corporation (NYSE: NUE) plans to build a TrueCore manufacturing facility in Brigham City, Utah. The new facility is expected to be operational in 2022 and will employ 50 team members.

Project Pinch: Scorpion to Open Utah Office

Scorpion will open an office in Utah, adding up to 1,007 new high-paying jobs in the state in the next five years. The company projects capital expenditures of $18.9 million associated with the expansion.

Project Steeplechase II: Facebook’s Eagle Mountain Data Center Expansion

Facebook is expanding its Eagle Mountain data center campu­­s by more than 900,000 square feet with two new buildings. Once completed, this data center will represent an investment of more than $1 billion.

Project Success: Orgill Continues Investment in Hurricane, Utah

Orgill, Inc. is expanding its existing operations in Hurricane, Utah.​ The company has a current footprint of 234 employees and a 540,000 square-foot distribution center, and plans to build a 427,000 square-foot addition and hire 157 new employees over the next 10 years.
