Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program Goes Rural
A strictly rural Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses cohort is in the works! The Utah initiative, which is managed by Salt Lake Community College, assists small businesses with a comprehensive growth training program.
The program is recruiting for Cohort 24 to begin in May 2020 and targets those businesses off the Wasatch Front. The training will be live and all online. Program executive director Beth Colosimo says: "We just finished an entirely online cohort and it went very well, thus my confidence that those in the far reaches of our state could have the same benefit during this unique one-time opportunity. We hope to be back in-person next Fall."
The opportunity is 100% scholarship based. SLCC will be hosting information sessions in January to give further details. In addition, here's a video of a presentation given January 6 to EDCUtah rural partners.
