Call for Nominations: Annual EDCUtah Economic Development Awards 2020

Every year we celebrate the people and organizations that have made an impact on the economic landscape of Utah with the EDCUtah Economic Development Awards.

This year we will be handing out the awards on September 22nd at our Annual Meeting. Please help us identify who those individuals or organizations are by submitting your nomination for one or more of the following categories:

Nick Rose Award for Leadership in Economic Development: 

This award is given to a private-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous award recipients have included Dean Luikart of EDCUtah, Scott Anderson of Zions Bank, and Alan Rindlisbacher of Layton Companies.

Thayne Robson Award for Leadership in Economic Development: 

This award is given to a public-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous award recipients have included Carlos Braceras of UDOT, Jerry Oldroyd of the GOED Board, and Governor Gary R. Herbert.

Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Cornerstone in Economic Development Award: 

This award is given to associations, organizations or developments that have merit far beyond their own boundaries and have had profound and long-term positive impact on the state's economy. Past award recipients are Salt Lake Community College, Utah Jazz Legacy Trust, and City Creek Reserve.
