Fox File #80: Farewell to Max
As you may have heard, Max Backlund has accepted another important position with one of our strategic partners and will be moving on from EDCUtah at the end of the week. These types of personnel changes are always bittersweet! We appreciate the amazing work Max has done over the last 2 years in launching EDCUtah’s Community Strategy Department. EDCUtah’s municipal toolkit makes our entire statewide economic development eco system stronger. In addition to developing the toolkit, Max also helped us launch the Mega Sites Program and has been a terrific mentor to Katherine Morrell.
We appreciate Max’s service to the organization and wish him well in his future endeavors.
A time of transition allows us to evaluate Community Strategy, how we are interfacing with our partners, and what the best delivery mechanism is for the amazing toolkit we now offer. As we finalize our go-forward plans we will communicate them with you. In the meantime, if your community has any needs of EDCUtah, please feel free to reach out to Mike Flynn (project questions), Matt Hilburn (research questions), Katherine Morrell (Mega Sites questions), or me.
