EDCUtah was in for a real treat at this year’s International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) held at the Expo Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 23,000 baking professionals and 800 exhibitors, it is the largest event for the grain-based food industry.
On September 28th EDCUtah participated in the largest CAMX Tradeshow event to date . . . Campaigning from a 20’ x 20’ booth, EDCUtah was able to see success for Utah once again.
On September 19th and 20th EDCUtah and the Governor’s Office made their way to New York to meet with several companies about investment in Utah.These meetings resulted in success again.
EDCUtah recently completed its first international Global Strategy and Outreach mission with a very successful trip to Toronto. Nine out of the twelve Toronto targets turned into leads, meaning that those companies wanted to continue the conversation about expanding into Utah.
Global Strategy and Outreach, EDCUtah’s proactive outreach team, executed a recruitment campaign focused on the Outdoor Retailer's Summer Market trade show.
EDCUtah attended the AUVSI Automated Vehicle Symposium July 20th in San Francisco. The show was composed of over 30 vendors and 1,100 attendes from companies like Ford, General Motors, Toyota, and Hyundai. Discussions and breakout sessions were centered around the rapidly growing driverless and automated vehicle industry.
