EDCUtah partnered with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development to host a dinner for members of the Utah State Legislature featuring past EDCUtah and GOED projects about why they choose Utah and what they love about doing business in the beehive state. (Video, 3 min.)
EDCUtah was in for a real treat at this year’s International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) held at the Expo Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over 23,000 baking professionals and 800 exhibitors, it is the largest event for the grain-based food industry.
EDCUtah recently completed its first international Global Strategy and Outreach mission with a very successful trip to Toronto. Nine out of the twelve Toronto targets turned into leads, meaning that those companies wanted to continue the conversation about expanding into Utah.
EDCUtah attended the AUVSI Automated Vehicle Symposium July 20th in San Francisco. The show was composed of over 30 vendors and 1,100 attendes from companies like Ford, General Motors, Toyota, and Hyundai. Discussions and breakout sessions were centered around the rapidly growing driverless and automated vehicle industry.
