Cache County is located 80 miles north of Salt Lake City and stretches up to the southern border of Idaho. The county’s population is 118, 343 (2014 estimate).There are 19 municipalities and Logan, with an estimated population of around 49,000, is the county seat. The county is governed by a seven-member council and a County Executive. Some of the major industries in Cache County include Utah State University, printing, dairies, cheese factories, health/exercise, farm equipment manufacturing, and meat packing. There is also a general aviation airport for private and charter service. Cache County is surrounded by beautiful mountains on every side and bountiful water resources. Outdoor activities abound year-round with numerous trails, canyons, reservoirs, and ski resorts.
